My path to design began on job sites alongside my dad, who turned his trade, glazing, into a small business that helped provide for our family. I handed him tools, learned to make screens, and discovered the pride of building something by hand and the value of skilled trades. As I grew older, he stopped bringing me along, but the field stayed with me.
A drafting class in high school rekindled that connection and led me to interior design, where creativity meets technical thinking. Today, I bring seven years in interior design and 13 years in hospitality to If I May Studio. Hospitality taught me to stay calm under pressure and keep everyone informed, so you'll always know where your project stands.
I founded If I May Studio trusting my voice, to create spaces that reflect the people who live in them. I bring clients, craftspeople, and collaborators together around a shared vision, and I coordinate the trades and vendors so you don't have to, with respect for every person and every trade.
That starts with listening. I bring design expertise; you bring the life that makes a space your home. Together, we shape it with smart solutions and care in every detail. And when something changes, you'll hear it from me first.

Process
Every project begins with understanding how you live, what you need, and what the space has the potential to become. I establish the priorities, architectural opportunities, and overall direction that will guide every decision that follows.
With a clear direction established, I shape the design through space, proportion, material, lighting, furnishings, and detail. Each element is considered in relation to the whole, creating a cohesive design that is both beautiful and purposeful.
I carry the design from concept into the finished space, overseeing the details that bring it together. Through coordination, procurement, installation, and final styling, I remain focused on preserving the original design intent through completion.
